CBS (formerly known as the Columbia Broadcasting System) is a major American broadcasting television network which is owned by Paramount Global. The network purchased and ordered Step by Step (from ABC), with the first episode "Making the Grade" airing on September 19, 1997, and concluded the final episode "Movin' On Up" on June 26, 1998.
