Richard Lambert is the father of Cody and the brother of Frank. He owns a successful real estate company. He appears in "Great Expectations" and tries to bring Cody in. Cody doesn't want to do this and Frank has to set him straight. According to Frank, Richard always tries to tell people what to do, and Cody says he was never around much. His confrontation with Frank comes to a head when Richard tells Frank that as Cody's father, he knows what's best for Cody. Frank responds "Then tell me, why would Cody rather live in my driveway than in your house?". Richard realizes Frank is right, and no longer tries to make Cody work for him since he clearly doesn't enjoy it.
